DYNAMIC DUO

Johnnie and Alyssa Blockbuger are fraternal twins and as one would imagine, they share many commonalities.  Both are amazing students at Tucson High School and both are exceptionally talented athletes.  In 2019, Johnnie won the Arizona State Championship in 200m and 400m and was second in the high jump.  Sister, Alyssa is a nationally ranked sprinter, running the 400m in 55.92 and a 200m in 25.92.

Besides their lightning speed and good looks, they have winning personalities to match! 

We decided on a late afternoon shoot at St Philips Plaza.  The Tucson High graduates looked stunning in their red cap and gowns. The architecture of the plaza added to the experience, providing classic lighting and backdrops. Both Alyssa and Johnnie are not new to photos.  They served as models for one of my Champion Brand photo shoots last year.  Their ease in front of the camera shines through in the images.

Johnnie and Alyssa were great to work with.  The friendly relationship, communication, and cooperation made this a fun event.  They came prepared with outfits that highlighted their style, personality, and athletic accomplishments. 

Congratulations Johnnie and Alyssa, class of 2020, shoot for the stars! They will both be heading to the University of Arizona in August to continue their studies and compete as a part of the U of A Track and Field Team!
